A Monthly Active Contact is any unique customer who messages you or receives a message from you on WhatsApp within a calendar month. This is the single metric SmartInbox uses to size your plan — there's no separate "conversations" limit to track.

Your messaging is never interrupted. If you exceed your plan's Monthly Active Contact limit, we'll notify you so you can upgrade to the next plan or purchase an add-on bundle to cover the overage. You stay in full control of when and how you scale up.

AI Prompts, AI Assist, and AI Chat Summary are included at no extra cost on every SmartInbox plan — Starter, Growth, Scale, and Enterprise. We apply a fair-use policy with generous limits that the vast majority of stores will never reach, so you can use AI without worrying about surprise charges.

SmartInbox's plan fees cover the platform and are sized by Monthly Active Contacts. Meta's WhatsApp Business API conversation charges are a separate, Meta-billed cost based on message volume and type (marketing, utility, service) — unrelated to your SmartInbox plan tier. We'll walk you through the full cost breakdown during onboarding.

Add-on bundles let you top up specific limits — extra Monthly Active Contacts, marketing messages, or automations — without upgrading your entire plan. Useful for peak sale periods like Eid or Black Friday when your volume temporarily spikes.

Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time — there are no long-term contracts. Upgrades take effect immediately, and cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

We accept major credit and debit cards, bank transfer, JazzCash, and Easypaisa. For annual or high-volume plans, we also support direct bank transfer invoicing.

Every new account gets guided onboarding — WhatsApp Business API setup, Shopify integration, message template approval, team training, and automation configuration. Growth, Scale, and Enterprise customers get a dedicated onboarding specialist for hands-on setup support.

Every conversation and message in your SmartInbox inbox is stored permanently — there is no data expiry or rolling window. Your full customer conversation history is always accessible regardless of how long ago it happened.

Yes. All SmartInbox plans are priced in Pakistani Rupees (PKR). No currency conversion, no dollar billing. Starter is Rs 18,000/month, Growth is Rs 38,000/month, and Scale is Rs 68,000/month.
